Understand before you buy
Poppers, its formulas and its use
Poppers is a solution of alkyl nitrite sold in 10 to 40 ml bottles. In France it is sold as a room aroma and leather cleaner, and it comes in four main families, which differ in how fast they come on, how long they last and how strong they feel. Picking the right formula is most of the work before you order.
Propyl, amyl, pentyl, hexyl
Propyl nitrite is the most widespread formula: very fast onset, sharp effect, short duration. Amyl nitrite, historically the first one sold, comes on more gradually and lasts a medium time. Pentyl nitrite settles in gently and holds longer; it suits a first order. Hexyl nitrite, rarer, is the slowest to come on and the longest to fade. Choosing a size
The 10 to 15 ml bottle is the trial size: it runs out fast but costs little and lets you test a formula with no commitment. The 24 to 25 ml is the best value for regular use. The 30 ml and above is for regular users and works well with the volume discount: from ten bottles, all sizes combined, the discount reaches 20%.
Storing an opened bottle
Nitrites are volatile and sensitive to both heat and light. An opened bottle keeps in the fridge, cap screwed on, away from daylight, and should be used within the weeks that follow. An unopened bottle keeps for several months in a cool place. Never pour poppers into another container: only the original cap seals it properly.
Responsible use
Our products are for adults only. They must never be swallowed, never be mixed with vasodilator medicines, and must be used in a ventilated space. Keep the bottle closed between uses, out of reach of children and away from any flame. If you have any doubt about an interaction, seek medical advice before use.
